"Coming at this from entirely the wrong perspective, but was recommended the pizza from a friend as we needed stodge before an evening out.. it was not good at all unfortunately, undercooked plus 2 wrong orders which were however remedied, though it’s hard to recommend.. the Larb however was by all accounts splendid. Worth coming for local food no doubt, definitely not for western though, shame really as it’s the only time on the island I fancied any."

Here is a quiet area full of hotels (very good looking, by the way) and from where I take a boat to get to the beach of the mae haad in 200bth, a highly recommended excursion this restaurant is located in the north area (we stay in the south area). And it cost us about 30 hours, for us it wasn't much, but if you ask people there, walking the island is crazy."

"This was the best and most authentic restaurant I experienced in Thailand. I went to eat Phangan with my friends in the first night and went back every day for the rest of our stay. The food is amazing, the prices are super fair and compared to other restaurants in this part of the island and Thip is just the largest. She is the most beautiful person at all, super friendly and friendly and is open to cook anything for you, even if it is not on the menu. You Thai food should die. She even taught me how to cook her amazing pad Thai. Best experience ever and definitely a go to restaurant if you are on Salad Beach."
