"Excellent reception, very nice. The first stage of a 3-day circuit from Lake Plagnes, viaTavaneuse, and Trébentaz, with our grandson. Dinner, breakfast and very hearty and excellent picnic. "Flew into the mountains with the sessel lift and sat randomly with vegetable milk (soy and hafer). only one cappuccino with soy milk. the coffee was a bit too strong for me, but it was nice."

"My goal for the day was to ski from Torgon to Avoriaz, have lunch, and then ski back. We'd stayed in the town several times, 15+ years ago, and I wanted to see what had changed. My wife and I used to meet up for lunch around here. I picked this restaurant due to its location near the lifts at the base of town. I chose the plat du jour, as I usually do, because eating up the mountain should not be boring. Today it was tender chicken breast (with saffron-coloured skin intact) in a creamy mushroom veg risotto-style sauce. It was lovely. The cafe au lait was good, too, but water was not offered automatically."

"Good food and service...until they needed us to leave because they wanted to accommodate a big party of people. We had booked a table for 5 of us, for our last night in Avoriaz we were not told at any stage that they had...a booking after us, and our table was booked for 7.30 by 8.30, we realised that things were starting to get rushed and the happy owner/waiter? Suddenly was not quite as patient or accommodating. We spent a lot of money, but we were hounded out by 9. (With a Group of around 10 people literally standing by our chairs!! The food was good and a more relaxed evening (as you would expect and want in this kind of restaurant especially on your last night) would have gained 5 stars."
