"A place where there shouldn't be inspections, otherwise it would have been closed...it's shameful and disgusting for me to come and have lunch with someone else and sit at a table where everything was full of glasses, cups, etc...the employee simply put things on the table and only then took the that it was already, and not even the table cleaned the glasses were sticking to the tablesimply shameful"

"Ci siamo fermati in questo bar-ristorante dopo aver a lungo cercato un posto per mangiare lungo la strada da Guimaraes per Amarante. Siamo entrati pensando di mangiare qualche panino e bere una Sagres Zero. La sorpresa è stata grande quando sul retro del bar ci siamo affacciati su un grandissimo salone che, malgrado l'ora tarda per il Portogallo (erano passate le 2 pm) era ancora quasi tutto pieno di clienti. Una cameriera molto sollecita ci ha accompagnato ad uno dei pochi tavoli ancora libero in fondo alla sala sotto una bandiera portoghese appesa alla parete ed il proprietario è subito accorso elencandoci a voce il menù. Abbiamo optato per il leitao assado (maialino di latte al forno) con insalata mista e patatine fritte. Dopo aver assaggiato gli immancabili stuzzichini portatici dalla cameriera il tavolo è stato completamente coperto con delle enormi porzioni di leitao con la ciotola del molho, una ricchissima insalata mista ed una montagna di patatine appena fritte. In più ci è stato portato un piatto colmo di riso tipo pilaf per accompagnare la carne.Non siamo riusciti a mangiare tutto ed il proprietario preoccupato ci ha chiesto se c'era qualcosa che non andava. Gli abbiamo detto che le porzioni erano troppo abbondanti ed abbiamo ordinato 2 sorbetti al limone ed il caffè. Abbiamo gentilmente rifiutato l'aguardente di medronho offertaci dal proprietario ed abbiamo chiesto il conto. La cameriera ci ha detto che erano "quinze"euros. Certo di aver capito male ho chiesto conferma ed allora lei mi ha mostrato per 3 volte la mano aperta. Le ho dato i 15 euro e le ho lasciato 5 euro di mancia. In conclusione l'ambiente più simile ad una mensa che ad un ristorante, ma il cibo buono ed il servizio rapido e cortese.Mi sarei aspettato di spendere almeno il doppio."
