"Consistently very good. There are two aspects of F&C joints that I think are underrated:<br/ 1. Consistency<br/ 2. Choice of hamburger bun.<br/ <br/ Valley Seafood comes up with a gold star on both of these which puts it in stark contrast to other places. I've been buying from these guys for about six or seven years now and I've never had a complaint with their food (although once a small tub of tomato sauce was past use by date).<br/ <br/ They also have a good handle on the hamburger bun I don't know where they get them from, but the buns they use are an excellent choice. They're not crusty but they hold together even when some moisture from the burger contents starts to affect the bread which is not all that common in my experience.<br/ <br/ I drive past about four other places in order to get my F&C from Valley Seafood it's probably the best in the area. Highly recommended."

"Cheap and quick meal on lygon street. We have been to this place multiple times. I usually get the salmon with Mediterranean marinade. Hubby like the fisherman catch with fish of the day. Their prawn cutlets and calamari rings are equally good. Not too oily. Love this place and we keep going back."

"What a great, convenient place to start an enjoyable evening. The service was excellent and prompt especially after they asked if we were on our way to the theatre. There was an inviting atmosphereg in the restaurant; the seafood platter, to share, was wonderful, if not a little expensive. A big selection of wines by the glass. The huge downside was the visit to the toilets, poorly signed and difficult to locate, up 4 sets of stairs, as well as a lift! Quite scarey."

"We are new to the area and love our Chinese so decided to try this restaurant. Although we didn’t feel like hot pot so decided to try their other menu! Had the Singapore chilli style prawns.....they were delicious. We will be back to try hot pot and a few more things we saw on the menu! Staff were so polite! Our waiter Jason was so friendly and lovely to talk to, he is a credit to this restaurant. Thanks guys!!!"
