"After a tip from a norwegian friend with a house in the area we planned a visit to this little town in the countryside in Provence. We were told that this is the best beef around and it was! Tasty and tender as a good beef should be.Not only the beef but all the different dishes we tried on two different visits are great!The food is prepared and presented with a focus on flavor with local touch. This is real good coooking in a small town in the "middle of nowhere". The service is great and personal in simple but charming surroundings.The Escargots or the Gazpacho as starters are also great choices!We will be back many more times.Only take cash so remember to bring some :)"

"Although this restaurant has a wonderful terrace (obviiously, given its name) looking our over the countryside and although they specialise in local produce, the food wasn't as good as some other restaurants I was lucky enough to try in France. There was a delicious salad to start with but the pork (local) was rather chewy and bland."

"If you are traveling south through Provence from Sisteron, it is just a very short drive up to this hill top village from the highway, and a two minute walk from your car to this bistro. The view from your table, whether you are outside on the terrace or inside, is incredible. There is a choice of local beers and wines and a food menu, but truly, the view is everything here. You may never want to leave!!"
