"I just got my take out from this Sushi Shop, we usually buying from them sushi and always were happy with our orders from them. Today , when I brought sushi home and we tried, to our surprise it was just awful. So bad, I never had that experience. The rice and other ingredients were spoiled , we were afraid to get sick from it, it wasn’t even look right, we needed to dump all of that to the garbage. I will never order from them again. Pls, stay away from this place."

"I rarely leave any reviews but this specific location is by far the worst sushi shop location. On more than one occasion the staff have been rude and condescending. My most recent experience with this spot confirms that I will never be ordering from this location again. After making an Uber order, I simply contacted the location and spoke to Tom just to request that two ingredients be removed from my poke bowl because Uber did not have the option to remove those ingredients and I was met with such rudeness that I simply canceled my order. I called back to speak to the manager and was told I can’t have the manager’s name. I can’t believe that in the restaurant industry someone can refuse to provide the managers’s name. I would highly recommend you try any other location than this one."

"Please read Felixc59 review the detail given are on target. The food is very well done and on a street of all you can eat sushi places and overpriced sushi joints this is the standout. It won't win awards for its physical look but 5...years into it and they have a strong following of regulars. The lunch we had was the largest combo on the menu and we were rocked by how good and fresh it was. And how well priced it was. We had the restaurant to ourselves at lunch which was quite good for us but a shame for the hoards lining up at the marginal all you can eat. Try it you won't be disappointed."

"This is the BEST Sushi Shop location and it's all because of one employee (Josie). My daughter has Celiac and this is the only Sushi Shop location that I trust because of her. She prepares my daughters sushi and goes out of her way to make all of her favourites gluten free. She also understands the dangers of cross contamination and makes sure her work surface is clean. My daughter has never had an issue and we eat there often. The Sushi is always fresh and the restaurant is clean. Very friendly staff."

"If I could give less than 1 star I would.I have no idea if this is the same owner who has been in this location for the past however many years BUT this past year has been extremely disappointing. This is my 4th and last order for 2022......not only did I ask and pay for extra shrimp in the Tartares that I ordered, there must have been a miscommunication because there seemed to be less and less shrimp as the months went on, to the point that I think they forgot they are a sushi restaurant and filled the rolls with 90% oily, greasy tempura, no onion, no roe, no taste and no fish.And after finally confronting them right after I threw it all out in the Marche de l'Ouest garbage, I received a blank face and rude replies. I was very polite but obviously frustrated for giving them too many chances.Nausea on top of nausea has been the result of my ONLY TEMPURA ROLLS.Thanks for nothing except an upset stomach, rudeness and an overall bad experience, once again.This is my fault for going back after the first bad meal."

"From the street you can't tell the lovely zen restaurant that awaits you inside. The servers are very professional and helpful if you need help on what to order. We have eaten here several times and ordered in never to be disappointed. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Worth a try but make a reservation for evening dining as it gets very busy. Don't forget to bring your own wine."
