"Had the much famed Steak. Was ok. Not incredible. Service took a while but I think maybe we should of been more forthright. The Tarte Tatin was incredible though. We had a set 3 course menu for 27 euros. Got quite busy on a Friday night."

"Une vitrine faussement clinquante : les gâteaux sont petits, trop sucrés et trop cher. On y trouve du pain : c'est un dépôt et il n'est pas fabriqué sur place sans que ce soit spécifié. Mais le meilleur c'est la découpe du pain en tranches à 30 centimes (et il reste des tranches non coupées car la machine fonctionne mal). Même à Paris, c'est gratuit ! Après mes remarques, la vendeuse a refusé de me vendre du pain en m'accusant de propos que je n'ai jamais tenus. Du jamais vu. Je suis restée choquée par le climat qui règne dans cette boutique. Je n'y remettrai plus jamais les pieds !"

"A birthday party on a very busy Saturday evening [the last before the more profitable.] we had a selection of menus in advance given I cannot imagine that the kitchen could otherwise have served everyone so efficiently. the food was so good salad with. a generous help of sweet melons and jams or smoked trout; the best curry l have eaten in eight years in france chefs seem to have been anxious to use, but that was really delicious; the champagne with red fruit jelly was not so successful [at that time it was not when I had made it home] but good ice cream accompanied it. alternative options available so that carnivores, pescatarians and vegetables all for. I look forward to another birthday party the next weekend."
