"Chez Jacky has a mention in the Michelin Guide, so we were expecting something special. One of our party went for a main of 12 oysters, two types, and was happy with that. I would have gone for the advertised moule mariniere but was told it was not available as the muscles were too small (had a very acceptable plate of moule in Quimper just 2 days later). Decided on the 18 euro with crevettes to start. Reasonable but nothing special, weak sauce and no bread provided to soak up the sauce. Wife and daughter in law went for same 28eruo meal with oysters to start (This is clearly Chez Jacky's speciality). The main came on the 28 e meal cod and vegetables. A small slab of cod, cooked, but with nothing to recommend it, no exceptional tastes, hey boiled fish, and the very few vegetables almost as an insignificant under dressing. The pudding were fine, but nothing exceptional. Staff were friendly and efficient. The ambience is excellent but why let down the experience with (except for the oysters) what was mediocre food."
