"Just had one of the best seafood meals in ages in Gravesend Yes ! I said Gravesend ! Ray and I both really enjoyed our food, and our waitress Josephine was an absolute delight to chat with, we had the best evening. Go there and mention our names and I’m sure you will enjoy it as much as we did. ‘The Boys’ queen street, Gravesend. Recommend by Tina and Ray start: Prawns in garlic scallops in cream Mains spaghetti vongole lobster tails in asparagus cream All delicious and recommended by us who have dined in ‘Auntie Lucy’s kitchen, Aprilia Roma. "Ordered cod chips X2 and a few other bits, when I got home I was missing items once again. The fish was actually disgusting the batter was slimey, and the chips were bland. Can't believe this meal was almost £30 with missing items, I'll never step foot in that place again. They're rude, too expensive and conned me twice now as I've paid for food and it's never in the bag."

"I don't go here often enough but after todays flyby lunch I will make more of an effort. im 52 and a lover or fish n chip Friday so you imagine I quite the coinsure. Undoubtedly the best piece of cod and chips I ever had. A meaty succulent freshly cooked cod with double cooked chips"

"This was my first visit to Humphreys under the new ownership and I was very disappointed indeed. I went there at approximately 6 pm and ordered cod and chips. The cod was very thin in depth, the flesh dry, too much batter was used and was warm, not hot. The chips were very dry, were warm, not hot, and had obviously been sitting around for a good while. When the previous owners were there the fish was thick, the batter thinner and the chips always piping hot and fresh. Humphreys used to be the best fish and chip shop for miles but, unfortunately, it is no longer. Poor to very average are the words I would use and certainly not worth making the trip regularly to frequent the premises. The price was as high as the previous owners I noticed (which I did not mind paying due to the quality of their food) but this cod and chips was certainly not worth it. W"
