"It was national cheeseburger day, so I decided to take my wife out to Fred's Texas Cafe. I am embarrassed to say I was born and raised in Fort Worth and have never eaten a burger at Fred's! We learned what we have been missing! It opened in 1976, one year before I was born, and in those 45 years, they have most definitely learned how to make the best hamburger in Fort Worth! I had the Diablo burger, it was the perfect amount of spicy, and we had it Fred sized for 3 dollars more! It was incredible! And the loaded fries, wow, loaded indeed with deliciousness!!! We will be coming back to try other hamburgers! They had live music on the patio, but my wife and I found a table inside; we enjoyed it a little more private. Parking is a challenge; plan on that."

"Just when to a wedding there for my niece and it was amazing. The food and drinks are excellent. I would totally recommend."

"Absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. Diego and Nestor were the ones working behind the counter. They would take someone's order, put it on the grill, and sit there whispering and laughing with each other. Once the food was done >5 min later), then they would serve it to the customer before taking the next customer's order. I waited 10 min to order a hot dog that took 2 min to cook. The ineptitude and incompetence was absurd. Nestor spent most of his time going back and forth from the kitchen to behind the kitchen, doing nothing in particular. The woman behind us got frustrated after waiting over 15 min and asked if she could go ahead and order because they were just sitting there leaning against the counter."
