"It started off badly and got worse. The Bloody Mary was very weak. The Margarita was fair. There was no ice tea, we had thought of ordering flan for dessert, but they were out of that, too. The place was nearly empty so there was no rush of orders. My seafood dish arrived in a decent time, but we waited and waited for my partner 's chicken Milanese. Our waiter went into the witness protection program for, at least, 30 minutes. he completely disappeared. He had previously assured us the chicken would arrive in a minute but that was well over half hour ago, before he fled to parts unknown. We finally gave up, no waiter, no chicken, no way. I took my seafood dish to go and we went, never to return."

"We’ve been here a few times and we’ve never been disappointed! The atmosphere is genuine Mexico, the food portions are large, and the staff is VERY friendly. We’ve only come here for breakfast, my wife loves the banana pancakes and I usually get the breakfast burrito. Wide selection of drinks, my favorite is the green juice. Well worth the visit in downtown Mismaloya. Recommended!"

"Pablo's restaurant was recommended to us by many of the others staying (or living) at La Jolla de Mismaloya condos. We were not disappointed! The best and freshest fish and chips, which had cilantro in the tempura batter and a very good homemade tartar type sauce with dill; the portions were HUGE and we now know the next time to share an order. We went back for dinner, which was Fajita night - we shared the shrimp fajitas and they were delicious as well. Delicious home made caramel flan topped off the dinner with an amazing ocean-front view. If you are driving or walking to restaurant, just look for the La Jolla de Mismaloya condominiums on the ocean side of the road and ask at the lobby area."
