"I have been a recurring customer for years at Chalio 's Mexican Restaurant off of Atlantic Ave in East Los Angeles, until now. Today, I discovered that now the customer has to pay for the complimentary chips and salsa at the beginning of the dining experience, which has been free since I 've been going to that restaurant. I thought the waitress was joking when she said this and asked to speak to the manager. The manager confirmed that chips and salsa, and I have to repeat again, had been free for the last 6 years I 've been going there, was now a chargeable item. I became upset and told the manager that their new policy was outrageous and walked out. They lost out on a minimum $60 sale. What made me most upset is that I 've spent thousands of dollars throughout the years and the manager just looked at me like she didn 't care of my valid complaint. With that said, I can afford to pay for the chips and salsa, but it was out of principle that I left and will not return unless they reverse their policy of charging for chips and salsa. And an public apology from the owner as other customers there saw this unfortunate embarrassment. For now, I will be enjoying a delicious lunch at my new favorite Mexican restaurant, Little México on Whittier Boulevard in Montebello., where they provide a nice serving of FREE chips and salsa and the service is so much more pleasant then Chalio 's Mexican Restaurant."

"I placed an order for an online pickup. After waiting for 20 minutes after the time, it should be ready. A worker told me my order was not ready to be picked up. Finally after another 10 minutes I go to check my order and they said it was all the time here and now my food is cold and I waited for 30 minutes."
