"Here for some ice cream totally delicious stuff and great texture. My husband had sea buckthorn and chocolate flavors both really good and on par with Italian gelato. I also loved my ice cream. Friendly service. Sat on one of the tables outside."

"'Hedin's Oe' in Kloster on Hiddensee Island is a very good restaurant in a very quiet location on the edge of town. My family and I each ordered different fish dishes for lunch and we were all very satisfied. The fish tasted fresh and was well seasoned. The salad, which came as a side, and the fried potatoes were delicious as well. Service was quite friendly, although the owner himself seemed inconvenienced by our presence, although we were the only patrons at the time. There is also an art gallery in the restaurant.Overall, a good experience which could have been even better if the owner had shed his bad mood."

"Das Essen (Vorspeise: Fischsoljanka, Hauptgang: Fischpfanne „Zum Hiddenseer“ mit drei gebratenen Sorten Fisch, Dessert: Rosmarin Crème brûlée) war für Hiddenseer Verhältnisse (tut mir leid, aber so schön die Insel, so schauderhaft das Essen in fast allen Restaurants) recht gut. Die Fischsoljanka war nicht ganz mein Fall, da der Fisch mit Haut enthalten war. Der Hauptgang war bis auf die Bratkartoffeln (waren nicht frisch und kross, sondern labberig) sehr gut: Die Fischfilets waren auf den Punkt gebraten. Das Dessert war einfach hervorragend. Der Service allerdings... Zunächst wurde ich darauf hingewiesen, beim "Anschauen" der Dekoration nichts mitzunehmen, das würden Gäste öfter mal tun. Die Freundlichkeit der Service-Dame wirkte aufgesetzt (ohne Übertreibung 20x die Frage, ob es auch recht sei und in meinem ganzen Leben habe ich noch nie so oft "aber gerne doch" gehört). Wir konnten uns kaum unterhalten, weil - so der Eindruck - das Interesse an unserem Gespräch groß war. Wir waren zwar fast die einzigen Gäste, aber dieses Verhalten fand ich doch sehr eigenartig."
