"We were at the Grand Dixences. At the restaurant there, the kitchen was closed and only cold dishes were available. On the way back to Evolène, I went to the village of Mâche (past the junction) to look for a restaurant. And it was very worth it. When we asked about cordon bleu , the landlord immediately presented us with a possible variant with side dishes. We enjoyed a fresh salad with extra lots of salad dressing (our request) and a superb cordon bleu with excellent accompaniments. Our Prague Ratter Chicco was also very welcome. The host is very customer-friendly, courteous and communicative. We can only recommend the restaurant. Every detour is worth it!!!"
