"It 's sad that I cannot review this because the staff informed us in no uncertain terms that we had not booked a table. Despite giving the date it was booked, the fact that a table in the window has specifically been asked for we were told there was no trace of a booking, they had no tables available BUT, we could go to their other restaurant which we did. There were 2 other guests in the place. We asked our host, (a friend who eats out a minimum of 3 times per week) if we should book again there and then replied ' 'I think not ' '."

"We arrived at lunchtime on our bikes and although it was busy we were able to get a table outside. Coffee was good, the food excellent and prices reasonable. Would have given 5 but we waited quite a long time for our food (it was busy) Veggie friendly and contactless payment."

"We have been there for many years, even have a favorite room (room 5). againstd is stunning with some amazing sunsets and magnificent sea views. the rooms are cozy and comfortable. the personal goes beyond and beyond and is friendly and knowledgeable. eating is top notch and has even transformed a picky pair with a few items. can not really mistake it apart from availability not as often as we want because it is so popular. I can't wait in three weeks for my next visit."

"Not many vegan options, so went with the obligatory burger. not great if I'm honest and the chips were undercooked. only vegan dessert was guessed what, sorbet! all a bit of a token effort. on the plus side the staff was very nice. but, in view of the cost, would not disturb again"
