"One of the best places in Engelberg for a night out, the food is fantastic, the quantities are enormous, and the service friendly and discreet. Get yourself a window table and town will be at your feet. We had a fantastic supper, two of us...had Fondue Bourguignon. and the other Cordon Bleu. we could not praise the food more. If you like good Swiss traditional food, this is the place for you."

"Have been here for dinner a couple of times this winter. Tried different dishes from the small, but very good menu. Really wonderful food, done with attention to detail. Traditional and down to earth ingredients, prepared with a modern and international twist. Even though the menu is quite small, some dishes are changed quite frequently, which makes the menu feel ‘bigger’. Mix of cosy, cool, sporty and laid back atmosphere. Easy and inviting to just drop in for a good meal and a chat."

"I had the vegetable risotto which was really lovely and fresh. The staff were very friendly as well. Quite pricey but that's the norm for Switzerland, and the most beautiful view over all of Engelberg, get a table by the window if you can."

"Essen sah aus und schmeckte wie Fertigprodukte aus dem Tiefkühler. Country Fries waren normale Pommes Frites. Nicht mal mit speziellem Salz. Das Servicepersonal war aufmerksam und freundlich."

"Dined here as part of package tour and had south indian style lunch. Idlis were fine. Vadas crisp and authentic. Sonpapri was pretty cool. That's it. rest calls for improvement. Chutney was very fibrous and not fresh/tasty. Sambar was wierd, did pick the drumsticks but the taste was missing altogether. Yellow rice was tasteless. Masala chai was just take and throw. really!! It was still a great change from the crap the package tour company and its tied up restaurants were feeding us in London tower bridge area, Paris (bombay villa etc. Just eat the idli vada here. Enjoy the awesome views from open balcony post lunch."

"Set in the beautiful mountains of Engelberg. You can hike down to the restaurant after a little cable car ride up a mountain top.There are crystal clear streams that can give you a refreshing drink of ice cold glacier water along the way. The restaurant has excellent food. Local specialities like rösti, wurst salat and fondue. The biggest meringues for dessert and huge ice cream sundaes. Trampoline for the children and very child friendly. You can then hire a scooter bike and enjoy a ride down to Engelberg. Spectacular outing!"
