"Amazing! I love everything about this place. From beer to bartenders to the friendly moats to the fact that I can take my dogs inside to enjoy a beer with me. Great music and billiards too. "A very nice and quiet campground. Only a few minutes over the mountain to Albuquerque and you would never know. The 7,000ft elevation has the breeze always at a gentle blow. Everyone here is friendly and I have been here over a month (travel for work) and have not seen anyone have an issue. It’s safe, clean and beautiful scenery. If you need to camp near Albuquerque, this is the place to be!Nearby activities: Tons of trails to explore! Only a few minutes from Albuquerque. Sandia Crest is awesome! You can drive, hike, or take a tramway to the top!Safety: You have no idea a big city is close by. This is more like small town living where everything is peaceful and quiet. I have never felt this safe staying so close to a city before. Being on the other side of the mountain keeps Albuquerque close enough to be there in 15 mins (by vehicle) yet far enough away that the crime stays in Albuquerque.Noteworthy details: The roads in the park are plenty wide enough for super big campers. I have seen plenty of triple axle fifth wheels come and go. Also a lot of big (tour bus sized) Class A motor homes too. They have a lot of pull through sites with full hookups. Very nice!"

"My family and I drove 2 hours to eat in the east mountain motto! eating is fresh and amazing, the personal is fabulous, and the place is clean and so very child-friendly! To round it off, the prices are also good! O.M.G. the torts and the scones are from this world and the jelly is the best I ever had! the cedar crest ostgebirgsgemeinschaft is blessed to have this facility! we're coming back!"

"While the service was pleasant, eating was anxious. our sweet potato friars were burned to a cripple and the rub was so charred that I had to scrape off the burned pieces to make it edible, our replacement regular fries where oil blows and floppy. very disappointing first experience. the management composes the Ruben election time."
