"What a beautiful small fish and chips shop. My family of 5 and I stopped to just buy a large tray of chips while on the road, which we shared at a little table outside, while it grew dark. Such a hardworking and friendly family running the shop made sure we were comfortable and everything was clean. They served really good hot chips too. I would love to stop there again if we go through Silverdale and would happily recommend them."

"I ordered take away last night and so glad that I did! The staff is very friendly and were very patient when I asked them numerous questions since it was my first time ordering from them. I called them to change the pick up time twice and they were very considerate about it. Most importantly the food was delicious...I loved it , my friends loved it ! Glad to have found a keeper : Keep up the good job guys!"

"I get takeout from Wishing Well a few times a month. I've eaten at most other Indian restaurants in Orewa and the Coast, and as far as taste goes, Wishing Well is my favourite. Since I eat from here so regularly, I can say that the chefs are very consistent with each curry's taste and spice level. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is the best I've had."

"Tha atmosphere is pretty chill at the restaurant but the bar is pretty cool for having a good time. The place is tidy so it's a good sign for a really good quality food. I'm not sure about the history behind this place but I think it's one of the oldest taverns in NZ so that make the place more interesting than other places."
