"A group of seven of us had a very mixed bag, but it was good under the standard I would have expected in a decent hotel. the charcuterie plate was very decent and the deep fried tintenfische were also good. everything else was, as someone mentioned before, from the school of cooking spoonies. burger, pizza, fish and chips everything they would get pub in a box, but at a considerably higher price."

"It was ok but expected better. The food is reasonably priced, as is the wine. I had the pulled pork, which was completely overwhelmed by the sickly sweet sauce. My daughter had the spinach pizza which was “ok”. My granddaughter made the best choice with the sea bream was delicious. Service was strange. The chap who served us was over us like a rash at first, not giving us nearly enough time to choose after we arrived. He came back few minutes and this became annoying as we weren’t in any rush, having had long drives that day. After our food had been served, he then didn’t come to check if everything was ok. This didn’t happen until we’d finished, when a lovely staff member called Lyn noticed we’d been left alone for a long time. She was really nice and took time to ask us how the meal was, and whether we’d eaten at one of their restaurants before. We had a lovely chat with her and left the restaurant feeling really appreciated. I’d definitely go back there if in the area, but would probably order the fish, or a steak."

"We visited Mia Bells on Friday night . The service was fantastic despite the fact place was packed . Food was good and live music was a very good touch . When we got a bill , we were pleasantly surprised , as the prices are very reasonable . Good selection of alcohol as well , for those who prefers a few drinks with they meal . We also stopped over for a quick Tuesday lunch , which was also good"
