"I loved this joint... I visited St. George from Santa Barbara, where we have some pretty good Mexican food, and this place is legit. Good portions, great flavor, home-made from scratch cuisine. This place was so good, I went 3 times in 2 days, and brought friends from the conference I was at. If you're looking for quality, authentic Mexican food in St. George, come here."

"I used to love this place it’s hours are very convenient for a graveyard shift worker like me. But something happened to the staff or quality control. I used to order nothing but the bean and cheese burrito. Simple and cheap. But every time I’d order it in recent memory it was cold enough the cheese hasn’t melted or my instance on no onions was ignored. So i switched to the carne asada burrito I love how meaty it is and it’s pretty good. But still the staff either can’t hear or doesn’t care because my request for no onions is never honored. Then when I had my wife return the messed up order they claimed called my wife a liar (not their exact words). And when I got my new order it still had onions but I was to exasperated to try and fix it again."

"Paula is a st. george classic. I will be honest when they are looking for authentic Mexican foods with bold and unique aromen they are best to go somewhere else. However, it is necessary to remember that paulas is a Mexican restaurant of the 1970s in a small town utah that probably had no other hispanic food than it was built. it is cheesy, but full of history and good people. the service is always excellent and the view is fantastic. I love eating (probably because I grew up) although it is very basic. for many people in st. george the visit of paula is a tradition. I make it a point to visit paula when I am in town."

"We had the veggie breakfast burrito and it was fine, nothing special though. The veggies in it were just pico and cilantro. It has good tasting eggs and big hunks of breakfast potatoes. It may be better if you add avocado. Oh and they were out of carnitas the morning we dropped in, so I’m not sure if that’s a usual thing for the mornings or not.The salsa bar has a lot of salsa options, habanero cream was one of my favorites!Horchata is super tasty, they have the aqua frescas in the drum, which is what I prefer.The place seemed really clean and staff was very nice and helpful!"

"Had a torta sandwich. Pretty good. The negative on this meal is the chips. They do not come with the meal and these were very oily. Saturated I would say."
