"Nothing fancy, but the food is wonderful. I get the Gyro sandwich, spicy. My vegetarian wife likes their hummus more than any other she has tried. Baklava is just the right sweetness and texture. Food is always hot and fresh. They do sear the Gyro meat, which might be part of their secret . Reasonably priced. It can be a little bit of a wait during peak lunch time because they have earned their popularity with the local med students and people who are smart enough to skip the cafeteria at the hospitals. I walked dozens of times from the towers in Children 's Mercy down through the ER to get to their truck."

"I get the cost of food has gone up, but the price to portion of Phó was not in line. Went there with a friend and got one small plate of bean sprouts and garnishes to share. There was barely any meat in the broth, which didn't have much flavor to it (I had to add a ton of hoison). I waited to write a review before I visited one of my favorite spots in Washington State to compare portions, price, and flavor. Wasn't even close at Nguyen Pho. The atmosphere is nice being near the City Market, and the restraunt is nice, but the food didn't hit like it should. Still on the search for good Phó in KC."

"This was a great Subway. The girls that helped us were fast, friendly and did a good job. One of the girls even had super long nails. I was amazed how well she made sandwiches! Clean place!"

"The whole place reeked of cigarettes and wet carpet. The floors in the room were disgusting and turned our feet black; the bathroom floor was also very sticky. There were cigarette burns on the sheets and concerning stains. The water in the bathtub was slow draining and when we shared our concerns with the front desk they were very unalarmed and said there was nothing they could do about it now but someone would come fix it first thing in the morning and they never did. It is a cheap hotel to stay at but take your money elsewhere. The location was alright if you forget about the sketchy people around but there was a lot of food options nearby"

"I'm really tempted to not put a review on this place... Would hate to start having competition for seating! Just kidding, there's so much seating that's probably never a problem!Coffee is great, decor is unreal and unique, very west bottoms. Baristas are sweet. Of the >50 Coffee shops I've been to in the last few years, definitely one of my new faves. Especially with BBQ, Whiskey and cool industrial feels nearby."

"We were driving around KCMO/KCK looking for color schemes for our home. I wanted something to drink as the weather was dark and hazy. I happened to see the Kinship cafe and had my boyfriend turn back around.The barista had a great vibe and was welcoming. The interior of the cafe was inviting and made me want to stay but we arrived late and they were closing in 20. I ordered a Yam spice latte (delicious! and my boyfriend had a mocha latte (very smooth and not overly sweet .Since we were late, we didn’t order any food but bought pastries instead. I had a blueberry bear claw and my boyfriend had a glazed donut.The ambience was awesome! I loved all the art and plants (by the way they are for sale . There is a lot of seating and if you’re into people watching the business faces 6th Street and Anne Avenue. I will definitely be back."

"I paid $8 for a cheesey egg inbetween wheat bread. When ordering I asked the barista if tomatoes, spinach, and all the other toppings came with the sandwich and she said yes. They didn’t put any of them on it. Every time I go here they’re out of bread too. If you want a cheap quick breakfast just go tothe Lunchbox in the west bottoms"
