"Once upon a time, in a small tropical galaxy not too far away .... Hi Tide cafe was discovered by The Dear Luncher trekking by the beach. Nearby establishments were choc full of people, but Hi Tide was not. Not sure why because it is the superior destination in that vicinity. Once again Eggs Benny (a brekkie favourite), with bacon on the side. Because sometimes ham isn't enough by way of pork. This breakfast was superbly executed. It's a super place to watch the ocean as you eat. A total of four visits now to this unheralded cafe, each time The Dear Luncher has left satisfied and content."

"Beautiful fresh seafood! <br br/> we just walked a bit later and got a table and grateful we did. Started with garlic garnel that was fresh and tasty in a great garlic sauce that was just perfect.<br br/> for the net was the crust barramundi nicely cooked and tasted amazing, and then the fish curry that was a rendang curry was also very tasty."

"Food was nice, but the seating experience was bizarre. The restaurant reserved tables for 2 hours into opening- the whole restaurant was basically empty and turning away customers from 5:30 because they had 7:30 bookings. Quite odd! We sat down on a unmarked table but the waiter came over to say it was reserved for 8 … when we it was 5:15? Not sure as we were confused and waiter blamed it on us being from the city and not understanding seating arrangements."

"We stayed at the Peppers Beach Club and decided just a quick local meal on Friday night and were so surprised by the quality and atmosphere. We had Friday night dinner then went back for Sunday lunch the food was so good.Great priced drinks and the food delicious, l had the crispy skin salmon - highly recommended, and Gary the Rump Wagyu. Then Sunday the Tempura prawn roll and Beef Ribs - exceptional and highly recommended."
