"There are a few plant-based milk, but the selection of foods was not great. There was a Christmas style hot sandwich (yes, I am sure it could have been eaten cold) with a turkey substitute, vegan cheese and cranberry sauce on sourded bread. It was DELICIOUS! But that was the only thing that was available. None of the rolls or cakes were vegan friendly, no vegan sausage rolls like similar coffee shops seem to be stored."

"Visited Humble Pie Dec 2020. Waited in the doorway and having been ignored for beyond a reasonable time, we left. It's a shame when hospitality is suffering so much at present that the actions of frontline staff can have such an impact. Shame but we...won't be back."

"Surprisingly, having visited three or four times, it seems to get worse every time. My initial visit was with the full family on a Sunday, I thought it was potentially just the fact the staff were young and hadn’t been trained to any standard. Having worked in restaurants for a long time there are few things that really grind my gears. One is staff avoiding customers and doing no work. A second is staffs drinking in public view and a third is staff using a glass as an ice scoop, especially one they had just drank from. The coffee was weak, the food was bland and the staff looked lost. My next visit was with my daughter, she is 2, no help from the staff to carry or even offer to carry anything, was directed to the high chairs (with a 2 year old in my arms) and was told if it gets busy I’d be asked to move….it was 9am and we were the only 2 people in the restaurant. My, what will be my final visit is today, I’m actually sat here on the restaurant right. Same issues about food, this time my omelette was boarder line burnt. I am all for supporting local businesses, but I am afraid this will be my last visit. Massively disappointing."
