"While there are vegetarian options I wouldn’t call it a vegetarian destination. It’s expensive and the falafel, while delicious, are not a meal. The hummus serving was small. Maybe a good place to go if you have meat-eating friends but if you are seeking veggies, other places are better."

"The bagels are great. allergies to milk and egg are marked on every bagel, so they can say what is vegan, but everything is in japanese. the personal has helped me know what is safe. even with google translation, I have no idea what taste bagels I bought. I wouldn't come back alone for that. also this is a take-out shop, not where to sit. you have to get up outside to wait for your application to buy something. it can take time."

"This is a perfect spot for a traditional japanese lunch. It is such a peaceful and charming location and the food is soo delicious! We came here after a visit to Gotokuji temple and were so pleasently surprised. The staff is also really friendly. You just have to do a little translating, because the menu is in japanese and the they speak little to no english. If you are having a hard time finding it: look for the (kinda faded) unkimika sign on the left of the apartment building."

"I've never had fantastic bagels outside of New York. Most bagel places get it wrong, often very wrong. Kepo Bagels are better than any other bagels I've had in Japan by far. If the owner of Bagel and Bagel had a Kepo, they'd cry for a week and subsequently close all branches. Kepo has a bunch of vegan options; maybe 75 percent of their bagels. Bagels are 170-350 yen each. Something like that. I highly recommend buying a bunch and storing in your freezer. They're awesome!"

"We were walking by chance from this place along the setagaya line between the station gotokuji and the station miyanosaka. Something has made me go closer and watch her menu, and my eyes focused on the word vegan it seemed like a random place, not too close to the usual spots with vegan options, so I was pretty excited! their three vegan options are currently Mexican burrito, taco rice bowl and sweet plate with rice or rice noodles 100 yen for the rice noodles.) we had just brunch, so we decided to take a burrito. the take-out set included two cute sides that were a bit bit tiny to be honest (only four pieces total), and we added pommes. the taste was excellent. it comes with a quantity of cilantro, so they keep that in mind when falling into the category of people who are not cilantro fans. overall great experience, and I would like to try their other vegan dishes as well. especially happy to see vegan options in this part of tokio!"
