"We have been visiting the jolly for years as it is our local. a table for 4 at 2:30 am for Sunday dinner. was told in the coming, there was no more roast! then said there was a 40-minute waiting for dinner. the pub was busy, but. without my full and there were many employees. we chose from the normal menu and eating was nice, have to wait almost 40 minutes, which we did not make. in consideration of the number of employees we were not asked about desserts or coffee, although a worker heard saying that they had fled from the milk, so no hot drinks were available! we have always had ingenious food and service, but unfortunately we felt a bit black today. we felt that we had gone, nobody asked us if it was good or if we needed something else. I really hope the dinge will be sorted out, we love this pub. only very shocked when the roasted were all gone at 2:30! my man was very disappointed as it is his birthday!"

"Packed with any other restaurant, the hospitality here might be the best we had. at the arrival we were not turned away because we had no booking, and the service was quite at the point. the environment was great, all traditional decor and very clean and tidy. that was great, but there were some who would have been better. Overall, I would recommend this place if they were to thai and in hertford."

"We ordered a takeaway, two mains, rice and noodles, paying extra for more meat at nearly £17 for a lamb dish as they are known for small portions. What we got was 6 small cubes of lamb, some of which was chewy. Even the rice container wasn't full and they are small containers, surely they can give you enough rice? This place is expensive, average quality and very mean with it's portions, leaving us hungry afterwards. For the money they charge I think they are a disgrace!"

"Last night there were 12 of us. Decoration was great, feels like they were in a real 50s american diner. the staff was pleasant, helpful and friendly, the waitress was very attentive to our needs. "What should I say? had a fantastic time here last night. eating the personal atmosphere were amazing. it was our first visit when our friends before us were not disappointed. we were very well looking for, even the tamburin played! when they go on Fridays or Saturdays, they need to book how it is busy, but service was very fast, I can't rate this restaurant higher."
