"The hotel was nice itself.. comfortable rooms which were spacious enough for 5 people to sleep but the bathroom was tiny. The room with the fire place was really nice to sit in in the evenings, however you weren’t allowed your own snacks or drinks...as they have a restaurant. And it closes at 9.30pm with no other space available to hang out. So you’re forced to go out or go to bed. On top of that, the male owner would be hovering around watching people which made us quite uncomfortable unable to be ourselves. The buffet breakfast was not great. Food didn’t taste fresh seemed to be heated from the night before. When I left 1 tiny sausage in my plate because to me it was not edible, I was told by the male owner to only take what I can eat not to waste food.. I found this quite rude unnecessary. He obviously hasn’t tasted the food there. If it wasn’t for the male owner, I’m sure we would’ve felt a lot more relaxed on our long weekend."
