"Called in for breakfast on our last day. Very friendly and attentive service. Very good hot strong tea in big china cups. Had to wait awhile as all cooked fresh. Very tasty brekkie. We asked for crispy bacon which wasn't but very good all the...same. Fried eggs lovely, excellent hash browns. Sausage OK, black pud a bit crumbly but very tasty. All in all a good experience and happy to go back."

"Terry is a lovely fellah, and despite being a Tottenham fan is is incredible easy going and helpful. Pub has the best burgers in town served simply and quickly (supplied by John May local butcher) kid, dog and adult friendly and sports always on the tv. Cheers Rich Cath"
