"Took a very long time to take orders and get food out, only 2 employees working and we waited in line for 15+ minutes with 3 people in front of us. Food was nothing special got a burrito bowl. Food wasn't that hot, fairly bland although fresh. no burrito or comparable sauce available."

"Right near the Hotel, just a small walk. The atmosphere is busy and buzzing but it's a large restaurant and people like to converse. We were visiting for an event in Toronto so we went to Jack Astor's, what a treat!! Service was great, staff...right there to please and the food was really good. I've never been to this restaurant before, hoping they'll have more in the US. I definitely would recommend it........I had a seafood dish, my husband ordered a steak dish. What we really liked was the portions were perfect, Fabulous!!"

"I was visiting friends in Canada and told them there weren’t any decent Indian restaurants where I live and I really craved one. They told me about a place out on Airport Road that had been recommended to them, but they hadnt been there…<br/>We went over and, as we were a party of 6, the staff pushed 2 tables together so we could all sit as a group. We decided to eat “family style” and ordered a variety of dishes to try We had vegetable samosas (a couple in our party are vegetarians) Chaat Papri and the Pano Puri. All were very tasty and the portions were enough to share without spoiling our appetite for the main courses We followed that with various plates including the Pav Bhaji to share, the seafood sizzler which really did come “sizzling” and Achari Paneer and were pretty stuffed after all those and the obligatory nan bread to mop everything up The place was cozy without being cheesy, staff were attentive and the price wasn’t too bad, would definitely return there on my next trip and I think my friends will as well!"

The staff were welcoming, respectful and kept checking on us if we needed anything. The food has been great and of high quality (a bit on the spicy side , so if offered a chance have it mild, unless you're into the very spicy variety. Unless one is coming for their regular lunch deals, the prices can be a bit high, for example the shrimp fried appetizer costs around $15. You are given the customary free Chinese fortune cookie at the end along with the bill as an indication of its time to leave :"

"As you notice in you walking that the windows need a good cleaning, not a good sign. I ordered two curry chicken dishes and a chicken biryani. They were big orders, but the absence of chicken in the dishes were very obvious. The sauces were tasty and sufficient, but the lack of chicken has turned me off. The total amount of the order was $88, which seemed very high for the takeover. I will probably not go back there because the price did not match the value of food."
