"We were quite impressed with quality/price of the food. For starters: scrambled eggs with asparagus (which was delicious) and a lovely tomato salad with onion and green pepper, topped off with a nice vinagrette and paprika (which is a must to purchase in this area called “La Vera”, the main producer of paprika in Spain). Our main dishes were “caldereta de Cordero” (lamb stew), which was excellent. The desserts we chose were fabulous: homemade “arroz con leche” (rice pudding) and a “semi frío” (cheesecake) with raspberry sauce. Service was friendly and efficient."
