"Coming from the mountain, this is the MUST STOP BAR. Amazing surroundings and wide selection of drinks makes Bus Stop one of the best Apres ski bars in Grindelwald. Staff always very helpful and happy to serve. To mention one of the best drinks here hot mojito or motor oil. Try it!"

"We had dinner on 2 evenings at grund restaurant, we tried the fondue (just to say we had tried this Swiss speciality) and really enjoyed it loads of bread a bag of potatoes and pickles. We also had a Rosti and a schnitzel another night which were superb. The veg were perfect, a little crunchy still, and so tasty. Very friendly welcome and helpful staff. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant."
When the weather is nice you can also be served outside.

"I was in the middle of my first ski lessons (I am a natural obviously) and needed something hearty to refuel. Everyone knows pasta is the ticket so I ordered the spaghetti Napoli (in tribute to our impending trip there) and it was pretty good. There was some water in the bowl suggesting the pasta hadn't been drained properly but it was hot and tasty.Staff were good although the prices were a little steep (captive audience syndrome).Unless you bring your own, it's all you get really but was still good."

"Decided to try this bakery out before heading on the train. Best ever choice for variety! Many sweets and other baked goods to choose from. We ordered chocolate croissants and some strudel. Everything was fresh and the service was great. Best to go early to get the best selection. Very convenient to get to, just a short walk from the train station.They also offer some chocolates and pies near the main entrance.A must try for the sweet tooth or just a little snack!"

"Wer mal Lust hat eine Pizza zu essen in Grindelwald - dem empfehle ich dieses Lokal.- Sehr klein - auch die Sommerterasse ist sehr klein :-)- Nichtraucherlokal auch auf der Terasse- Sehr freundliche - nicht allzu schnelle Bedienung - aber die Freundlichkeit macht alles wett.- Leider ist keine Reservierung möglich.- Pizzas werden auf dem Kuchenblech gemacht und sind in 3 verschiedenen Grössen erhältlich.- Es ist möglich eine mittlere Pizza unterschiedlich zu belegen - für alle die einen normalen Hunger verspüren und doch unterschiedliche Gelüste (pizzamässig) verspüren.- Essen eher im oberen Bereich für eine Pizzeria - aber es lohnt sich"

"So first, here are the positives, the views from the top of the mountain are awesome.It does take quite some time to get to the top of the mountain. The tour allows 2 hours at the top of the mountain so deduct that from the total tour and now you can see the travel time. We spent 9 hours on trains and busses getting there. Once there, the place was mobbed with people to the point it was like Disney World crowds. The tour was nice but don't go on the tour with a guide, go on your own as the guides rushed us through the ice palace and the peak of the mountain. Hint, take some snacks with you or pay awful prices for water, food or anything else.Overall an awesome experience to see the beauty but man it's not the Americans that are rude. I could not believe other people that pushed, shoved and ran."

"We ate lunch here and had a decent lunch, but certainly nothing special. Soups were good, other food was decent. Service was slow. There were flies in the restaurant that were irritating, and when we asked to move away from the front of the restaurant to get away from the flies, they were accommodating but made their displeasure known."

"Meine freien, sonnigen Tage im Winter verbringe ich meistens auf der Terasse im Berghaus Bort in Grindelwald. Vielseitige Karte, super Gerichte.
