"As a lover of Iranian food, I was excited to find that Durham would finally have a restaurant devoted to this delicious cuisine, even if it was only a take-away. Apart from anything else, it would save a trip to Newcastle, which boasts several (Taste of Persia being the best in my opinion). We ordered a number of dishes, eager to try out the new kid on the block. Unfortunately, we won't stop going to Newcastle any time soon; Apart from the rice, everything was extremely watery and bland, whereas the meat content was ridiculously mean."

"Amazing. a caffe in a medieval castle gate house that serves vegan cake and coffee with plant milk options. the German themed cake chocolate-kirsch was extremely delicious. we sat outside, rested the bikes against the wall of the castle house and enjoyed a coffee and cake in the sun. the only caffe for miles."
In nice weather you can even eat in the outdoor area.

"A big fan. the interior design is one of the best curated in durham. perfect place for a smooth coffee and cake (both 10/10). the vanille chai latte is beautiful and the matcha is also beautiful (only suggested it would mix well, an electric milk foam would do the trick). they all come together with creative cakes that are never disappointed. they are great to change it without exaggerating it and in beautiful with seasonal ingredients. they make great vegan options from a delicious sandwich to a full meal. would be amazing to see them try vegan cake also, especially with all durham students around the corner. service is nice, friendly but not transmitted. the prices are decent for what they get. compliments to the chef, eating is divine. would highly recommend the cauliflower w/ hummus, the mushroom toast and the Muhammara dimmer. the Misto apple frangipane dart is possibly one of the best desserts I ever had, hoping they would bring it back to the menu as well as the flower flower tacos I had last summer, which were heavenly. all in all lush eating, lush place."
