"My boyfriend and I dined at the restaurant during a not super busy night. Another couple sat down and ordered after us and got their food first and when I asked the waiter if our food was going to be ready soon he waved his hand at me, grunted and walked off. We were offended but decided to try to enjoy the night. After we had finished eating, my boyfriend asked for a quiet word with the waiter because he wanted to make it known that what the waiter did was incredibly rude. The waiter completely flipped out and started making aggressive gestures at my boyfriend and pointed his finger close to my face saying I'm rude. I'm in complete disbelief that this waiter is behaving like this, and the manager did nothing to try to calm the situation, and didn't even berate the waiter. What amazed me the most is as we were leaving, the waiter kept coming back and tried to pick a fight with my boyfriend. Don't go here unless you enjoy despicable behaviour from the staff."

"I am reluctant to give this review and have sat back 24hrs before doing so. When the restaurant (not cafe, as it is now) was new, it was thoughtful creative and exceptional in delivery. We used to go several times a month.About a year or so ago, we started feeling management had dummed down the menu and was paying more attention to the needs of the kitchen and way less to the desires of the customer. We hadn't been for a while, but invited close friends to join us last night and were highly embarrased by the even greater narrowness of the menu (easier on the kitchen, apparently) and how poor the delivery of the final product was. It was poor, very poor. Undercooked veal, low grade quality grissle meat that was more "woolies chop" than restaurant quality veal....and a handful of "McDonalds" fries (they used to make chunky chips that were a treat). Nil veggies. No complaints about the service as the girls are both personable and attentive. We were embarrased in front our our guests by the food. They commented in unflattering terms. We were ashamed. Simple as that."

"Dined here with family for a birthday dinner. Shared entrees of Arancini and Calamari and both were delicious. Mains were Seafood Soup, Pork Belly and Pizza. The seafood soup is the most generous soup I have ever seen at a restaurant. My father in law required help to finish this meal, it is very generous and very tasty. The pork belly was equally delicious. I also had the pear tart for dessert and it was equally impressive.The restaurant itself is quite large, however, it still feels intimate with stylish decor. The service is great and we will definitely be returning to this venue."

"We went to to a group lunch (about 20 people) for a Saturday lunch. The calamari was excellent but some dishes a little unusual prawns with cold noodles. Service was a little slow, so extra garlic bread filled the gap, but staff were friendly.Two courses and a glass of wine for $30 is reasonable value."
