"Wenn ich mit meinem Vater essen gehe, ist seine erste Wahl die Burestube im Nachbardorf. An einem schönen Sommertag sitzen wir dann jeweils auf der Terrasse mit wunderschöner Aussicht über das Aargauer Reusstal. Bei kühlerem oder nassem Wetter können wir wählen: Das ruhige Sääli wenn wir eher unter uns sein wollen oder die Wirtsstube mit dem Stammtisch, der am Abend gut besucht ist, und an dem er immer jemanden kennt.Für mich sind die Kalbsleberli mit Rösti dann immer gesetzt. Sie sind immer frisch (Konsequenz: wenn sie ausverkauft sind, gibt es halt keine mehr). Die heissen Leberli kommen an einer ausgewogenen, sehr schmackhaften Sauce. Ich habe noch nirgends eine bessere bekommen."

"Wir gehen mindestens 1 x im Monat zu einem Spaziergang rund um den Flachsee. Das Restaurant Hecht in Rottenschwil ist eigentlich immer der Wendepunkt zurück nach Bremgarten. Das Casa Hecht, unter neuer Führung, ist ein beliebtes Restaurant bei Wanderern, Velofahrer und Biker. Das Garten Restaurant an der Hauptstrasse von Rottenschwil nach Unterlunkhofen ist darum immer gut besetzt. Leider aber lässt nun der Service zu Wünschen übrig. Eine Wartezeit von 15 Minuten bis eine Bedienung kommt, ist einfach zu lang. Wenn das Personal so ineffizient und unorganisiert arbeitet, muss der Chef, der auch noch mit arbeitet, das einfach sehen und korrigieren. Leider hatte er, nach meiner Reklamation, nur ein müdes lächeln übrig. Mein Trost, dem nachbar Tisch ging es nicht besser.Liebe Restauranteure, wenn Ihr ein Restaurant neu eröffnet, bemüht euch doch, dass das Personal geschult und der Service eingeteilt ist. Der erste Eindruck beim Besuch einer Gastwirtschaft ist nachhaltig und entscheidet ob sich ein weiterer Besuch lohnenswert ist oder nicht.Schade, dass diese Chance, trotz Versprechen im Inserat der Lokalzeitung, verpasst wurde. Ich hoffe auf Besserung."

"Ich war kurz mit dem Geschäft über Mittag in der Kreuzstrasse. Der Service ist freundlich, die Menus kommen schnell und sind für ne Mittagsmenu-Karte ganz Ok. Das Menu könnte evt. noch ein wenig mehr Gemüse dabei haben und ein bisschen weniger Salz.Alles in allem aber wie gesagt OK. Im Mittagsmenu war bei uns auch ein kleiner Salat und ne Suppe dabei.Auf der Karte waren 4 oder 5 Gerichte, dies war auch sehr gut.Da ich nun in der nähe arbeite, komme ich sicherlich gerne mal wieder."
