"If you go up Floyen, it is definitely worth it to walk to this little cafe and the lake. You don't even have to buy anything, you can also eat your own lunch. But: the coffee was good and quite cheap and the pancakes with jam were very delicious The best of all was the incredible nice, friendly and open-hearted barista. We talked with him for almost one hour since he was so kind. He gave us amazing tips for our trip, we would come back any time Extra tip: go up to the blåmanen hill."

"In doing research on exploring Bergen on a cruise port a there were a lot of reference to stop here to have lunch and try the sausages. The place opens at 11 am and we got there like 15 minutes after and there was a line already so it is a popular spot especially with cruisers in port. The line moved fairly quickly. The menu board is above the window and in a few different languages. We were three in our group and we tried the Reindeer sausage, the frankfurter and the cheese sausage. While I liked the reindeer sausage it was under seasoned along with the frankfurter one. The cheese one actuality had the most flavor of the three. I did not do the Reindeer sausage with the mustard just the Loganberry sauce but still the sausage itself did not have some of those spices you expect out of a frankfurter/sausage. I expected more pop of flavor. Overall it was good a worth a try and a meat you don't typically don't see in the US. Service was good a they were pleasant."

"The restaurant inside the hotel Opus XVI is a great dining experience. The chef didn’t take the easy way out with a veggie burger, but instead offers wonderful and delicious options. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into the recipes and their presentation. And it’s also worth visiting for the breakfast buffet. The set menu has a couple of vegan options including an English breakfast with vegan sausages while the buffet includes lots of fruits and cereals. The staff was friendly and provided great service."
