"This was recommended by the staff at our resort and it did not disappoint. It is rather awkwardly situated just before the railway line, but once you take the plunge and pull off the road, there is plenty parking space. The inside of the restaurant is smart looking and I was a bit concerned that with our 4 small kids in tow, it might not be suitable! However, we sat outside and this was ideal (if not the most scenic! . There was plenty of room for the children to get up and play (as they do! without disturbig anyone else. The seafood menu was extensive and there were plenty of things (both on the menu and off that were suitable for the children. We were also shown a selection of fish to choose from, and the waiter was happy to recommend. The food was tasty, the fish was fresh, the wine was very good (we had the house white from the Duoro region and this was exactly to my taste and the bill was surprisingly reasonable. All in all, definitely worth a visit!"

"We have been to this restaurant a few times and we love it. The staff are so lovely the food is good. So disappointed last night though! We had the pasta and thought the portions were really small. Such a shame as Arcos is one of my favourite restaurants in Quinta."

"This is the first time we have visited this restaurant under the new ownership and we had a most enjoyable evening. We were celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday, and this was unobtrusively recognised by the management’s generosity (thank you guys! Our meal was delicious, thoroughly enjoyed by all four of us. Probably the most delicious couvert I have ever been served too, very innovative! We will definitely make further visits when we return to our casa in late Spring."

"Nice evening at Sao Gabriel having the signature menu with great choice of Seafood. Food was creative, surprising and very tasty. Special call out for vast majority of incredients being local. Wine pairing was also great, mostly locally from Portugal. Service was very heartly and gave some cool background for every course. We can definitely recommend the restaurant!"
