"Visited this place again after quite some time with my complete family and I must say it was again very good. We could sit outside near the sea and so the scenery was fantastic with the mountains etc. Staff is very friendly and the food - a mix of mediterian and local - was very good. The menu is not too large but they prepare everything fresh which of course is very good. Really enjoyed the evening and for sure will come back."

"This is a family run operation including the Musenalp gondola that gets you up here. You have to hand crank a phone to get gondola service . I believe it was 14 CHF about $14 for a round trip. Despite the english/german language barrier, the waitress was quite helpful and even took me to see an example of the pastry that I had questions about. Because the family has a herd of cows here, they make their own cheese as well. The whipped cream on my pastry was very good and rich. I can't really comment on the view as it was mostly foggy while up here. There is an outdoor eating area which I'm sure is wonderful when the view and temperature are right."

"Dinner at the outdoor Terrasse on a warm summer evening is absolutely delightful experience. Very skilled Chef thank you! . Presentation of the dishes is beautiful and tasteful, views are gorgeous. If you are in Bauen and would like to treat yourself to a very tasty and unique lunch/dinner this is the place for you! There is a menu to choose from, you can take all of it or choose particular dishes you like. Candles, nice music at the background, very attentive service just try it yourself, you won’t regret it ;"

"We had planned to visit Lucern for two days but at the time of leaving, we hadn't found any accommodations yet. Our stay at the Gasthaus Tourist hotel was booked literally a minute before leaving Neufchatel and we weren't disappointed at all. First off, there's...the view. This nice hotel is located in center Switzerland, meaning there are lots of prairies and so the view from our room was beautiful. Beds are quite comfy, just like the overall interior of the room and place. We didn't have the facilities in the room so we had to share a common shower and toilet but those two were as clean as possible. Quite roomy as well, like our room. Breakfast was really, really good, especially the muesli thing. Quite tasty and generous on the whole! Finally the staff. As far as language barrier goes, we don't speak any German, let alone Swiss German... so we had to use English. However it appeared that the woman--who runs the place with her husband--speaks a better French! So we ended up talking French--our native language. Brilliant! Also, great value for money: two nights, WiFi and breakfast, two people, awesome view, for CHF210! We do recommend!"
In nice weather you can even have something in the outdoor area, and there is complimentary WiFi.

"We have taken a four-forest lake cruise with a friendly couple and a table reserved on the terrace of restaurant fischli. we were greeted by a very friendly service woman and then served very attentively, although we did not want to drink alcohol because of the hot weather and only ordered water to the diners. the fish crispy were extremely delicate and finely seasoned, the pommesfrites crispy-lecker and the small leaf salad also tasted well with its refreshing sauce. crispy broth and a dreamlike view of the sea - a happy, unspectacular stay that crowned our departure among friends. we'll definitely get back to this jewellery place."
The restaurant also offers the possibility to sit outside and eat in nice weather.
