"We were in the city attending an event and using my Entertainment book membership, found this place near by. It was really busy but the staff were really good clearing tables and find us, and others, tables. Again the staff were good with taking our drinks orders and then our food. Normally if you good elsewhere, when it's busy you seem to get forgotten but not here. We had the house burgers, which were huge and very tasty. A great place for catching up with people or a bite to eat before heading home."

"Best authentic Italian restaurant in Brisbane. Located on the busy Kingsford Smith Drive, with parking available in side streets/ signed parking area for the restaurant. As soon as you close the front door you can't hear any traffic or current roadworks. <br/>Dated tables chairs but very comfortable to sit on (like visiting an Italian Nona's home) .Restaurant updated since I was last here.<br/>Food great value for money fresh. Good serves service.<br/>Pizzas are fantastic. Takeaway also available.<br/>We had a group of 12, celebrating a birthday. One waitress for the whole restaurant was run off her feet. There were also several other tables occupied. <br/>If we asked the waitress for something, she was able to accommodate us without any problems. She even arranged sparklers for the cake took a group photo of us all.<br/>Will be returning in the future- my favourite Italian restaurant"

"Had dinner here last night and impeccable service. Attentive, friendly, polite and fast wait staff. Food unfortunately was a bit of a let down compared to service, the steaks we ordered as medium rare turned out to be very well done medium, on the verge of well done, being a thinner cut of meat I can understand maybe the chef left it cooking a bit longer than he should have? Entree of chilli prawns, couldn't taste the chilli much, everyone concluded the sourness of the tomatoes overpowered the dish and the prawns were on the mushy side. "It was my day of FREE! I had scored free tickets to the Global Tens and also free tickets to the Stand Up Comedy Club, so why not spoil myself with a beautiful Italian dinner with some amazing friends? I have been walking past this place for so long and had always been memorised by the interior design and decor t had to offer. Grappino has this unique Italian feel to it, as well as some absolutely fantastic and professional Italian waiters. This place has character!!! Now the food, I had the Pappardelle with Duck and oh my goodness what mouthwatering flavours! Yes the serving came out on the bone, but it broke away with easy and the sauce and pasta compliment it's hearty flavour. I ended off with a cheese platter (the Tallegio cheese) which was just a perfect way to finish off with the remnants of the delectable Shiraz. All and all, this place has fast, professional service with a unique character that only Italians possess. Such a lovely night out, I highly recommend this place!"
