"I have been here before and really enjoyed my night (6 months ago) but on this occasion it was not a good experience. We waited 20 minutes to order our drinks despite the 2 waitresses not particularly being that busy. Some time after we placed our food order we were told we couldn't in fact have the prawn empanadas we ordered, they had run out. One of the other dishes we ordered was enchiladas but when they were brought to the table we could smell a burnt smell. Upon turning over to the bottom of the enchiladas they were completely black and charcoal. Hubby and I hate complaining and we avoid sending food back at all costs but they were completely inedible. I find it really disappointing that whoever cooked this would have sent it out to the table with full knowledge of just how burnt they were. In the end we these were replaced and we were not charged. Overall it was a disappointing night with really average food and rather expensive for what you get. We will not be returning or recommending Hernando's."

"This place is the go to place for chicken and chips. They also have salads as well. Sure it is not as cheap as getting a chook from a supermarket bit the quality of the chickens as well as the turn over of the stock is high. I and my family have been going there for over 25 years."
