"They have had some inconsistencies over time but, mostly the food and service is good. The eggplant sandwich and chicken tostada grande are my favorite for lunch. Breakfast and dinner are good too. I would recommend."

"Had a very unfortunate experience at Alchemy recently. Two of us there for dinner ordered calamari that was way over cooked and didn't taste good at all. One of us had the three palm salad and it only had lettuce, no artichoke hearts or hearts of palm. Smothered with croutons and shake Parmesan, instead of shaved. And lastly, I had fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes were cold and the fried chicken tasted bad also.... I think the oil it was cooked in was old. Explains the calamari too. We were so disappointed because we've loved Alchemy since its inception. Wondering what's going on there. We were told they had a brand new cook. Anyway, the bartender and server were wonderful."

"I was at murphys barbecue a few years ago and they had practically nothing vegan, but an salad they had to change to make vegan. they now have several vegetarian and vegan choices on their menu. I ordered the delish burger (beyond patty), and it was really delish! it was big, tasteful and chaotic. everything you want in a burger. the pesto added a unique note that made it interesting. would be reordered in any case! also their tropical icy is SUPER-Yummy!"

"The ambiente des ortes is very beautiful and the whole street is such a cooler place in the night. I ordered a bun and pesto pizza. it was great, but I didn't like that the hunch topping felt that it was too stale and my friend ordered fish and chips that were very good."

"Stopped in on the first day they were open on that day, and the food was excellent. We went in with the intention of sitting indoors but the waitress/owner asked us if we wanted to sit outside. We thought it was too hot, but she said the outside dining is right along the creek and normally is cool with a nice breeze and it was. We will be going back very soon. Service: Dine in"

"This historic hotel was such a disappointing stay. The rooms are not modern, the remodeled bathroom has a hole in the wall for the door handle, the paint was so sloppy and had weird patch work that was unpainted and there was no full length mirror in the room. The bed was so uncomfortable and the sheets were the lowest quality. The room was also so loud from simple movement from the room above. You can hear the guests on the second floor as clear as day, we didn’t sleep at all. The price was outrageous for a motel and we were charged for a “special event” during Memorial Day weekend with no notice. The desk closes at 8pm so you can’t check in after 8pm without hunting someone down in the bar or in our case a night maintenance guy we had to find in the back of the kitchen when we arrived. The front desk staff was unfriendly and no help at all when approached about the noise with a response of “yeah, it’s an old building.” The food was beyond underwhelming, the “free” coffee in the morning was barely warm at best. We received nothing short of rude welcome by the front desk staff and the most overpaid room I’ve ever stayed in for a basic motel 8 experience. I would never stay here or recommend it to anyone.Murphys is a cute town, amazing wine tasting rooms and great people but DO NOT STAY HERE!"

"This is a good pub that has some great food offerings. The soft pretzels are soft and tasty with two good dips. The street tacos with carnitas and the two dips were scrumptious.
