"Restaurants in Spain are always busy on a Sunday and this was no exception. The first thing that we noticed was that a Spanish couple who arrived after us got their food and drink before the waiter had even taken our order. Then he forgot to bring us the salad that usually starts a menu del dia meal when he did bring our drinks. The food was overcooked and we waited quite a while for the waiter to clear away the plates from the main course. We are aware that that the menu is an inexpensive way to eat and perhaps we'd have done better choosing from the la carta. It was generally disappointing. Perhaps because the restaurant was so busy we did not get any of the personal attention mentioned in other reviews and felt that the Spanish customers were preferred."
