"Excellent. Decor reflects the low price. Along one wall is the take-away counter. But light, spacious and clean. 5 minutes drive from the castles. Friendly service. Each dish arrives on one plate (rather than on dishes from which you serve yourself). Large portions, freshly made, tasty. (I had something like mixed vegetables and tofu with rice.) No negative after effects - rare for a Chinese restaurant! Good value for money... dishes advertised as 'from 5.50 Euros' but tax gets added."

"Conclusion in advance: Healthy interiors, good regional cuisine, welcome guest rooms, fast and friendly service, a visit is worthwhile. Location: The hotel is located directly on the Bundesstraße 17, which leads through Schwangau (for Navi: Füssener Str. 3, 87645 Schwangau) and is well known for its very impressive Lüftlmalerei. The house has limited private, free parking. Occasion: A personal anniversary was the reason for our visit and a reservation by email in the morning was also confirmed very friendly and immediately after the opening. The ambience: Access from the parking lot to the house is quite flat, only a very small step to the main entrance and a normal step into the guest room are to be overcome. The actual guest room is located in a former stable with barrel vault, which has received a remarkable painting. In addition, there is a small room that was very rustic with wooden panels and wooden ceiling. Another rural area also increases the space for guests. The Allgäuer Umland is treated with all the opposite cow pictures, even the toilets have not been saved; and a footwear is also decorated by a horn bark. The beverage menu not listed in the net offers a very large selection, including wines. The beers come from the Scheyern monastery brewery and are very appealing. The service: The two men responsible for the guest room are doing their job with cordiality and fun at work. They realize that they have learned their profession. Beverages: The wheat ordered (up to 4.30€ 1 2 liters came quite fleety and well tempered. Also the two espressos (to €2.70 and the cappuccino (5.40 €) came quickly after the order and were not challenged. The food: We had here two times the “cnusprige 1 4 duck with dumplings and red cabbage” in the daily offer at 15,80 € and the böfflamott (yes, that is written! at 15,50 €. Something surprised me about the fast service of the ducks, but obviously they were still from lunch and until 18:30, of course, a bit dry. They were probably better at noon. Tasteful, however very good with a sauce that also contains the fat of the ducks, also kept made. The böfflamott was served with a delicious roast sauce, also with the homemade very good red cabbage and a dump (with “bröckele”) in it. spoon The meat is well swollen and neither too soft nor too hard, perfect. Only this plate decoration with “Streuselpetersilie” is still “old school” but then fits all. Cleanliness: nothing can be complained here either. The tables are covered with runners and the decoration with (plastic lion tooth brings spring color into the room. The toilets: Here too there is a well maintained cleanliness, even when you look at the interior. Dark brown current and armor from older times are now given and for an expensive renewal I see no anlas here. The toilets are accessible from the guest room."
