"The first thing to appreciate is that lunch is served very early, 1230 is by no means too early to arrive. Don't be put off by an element of shyness. Once established in the pleasant if sometimes somewhat cool dining room, (so dress warmly in winter) with a view over the village square you have a choice of several fixed price menus with usually two dishes of the day. These are delicious, ample in quantity, beautifully served and modestly priced. The open house white, a Sauvignon is a more than adequate accompaniment. The torte tartin is outstanding. Altogether first rate. C'est très bon."

"This restaurant can certainly prepare good dishes but our wasn't a success. Pasta with St Jacques, despite its good quality claimed by the restaurant, was significantly overcooked and largely was missing salt / other spices. It was impossible to catch up for it adding salt or anything else afterwards despite our efforts. It's a pity as St Jacques in the pasta were good. The reason was probably that (if I'm not wrong) the same person was the cook and the waiter. My conclusion: if you want to visit this place off season and in the middle of the week, when there are not so many customers, go for a menu which was certainly prepared in advance rather than for something à la carte."

"Firstly the view gets you it is beautiful and the restaurant makes the most of this with their large windows. The food was £££ but worth it with fantastic flavours it was delicious. The only thing was we are far too much but luckily there was a beach at the bottom of the hill to walk it off. We did book and wouldn't think twice about going again, it was a wonderful lunch."

"Mais où est la légendaire et chaleureuse hospitalité bretonne? Surement pas ici! Accueil pitoyable, jugements de valeur portés sur chacune des tables avec compte-rendu à voix haute à chaque départ de clients, portions lilliputiennes pour un prix exorbitant. Une ambiance pesante et stressante avec la porte donnant sur la terrasse que la serveuse claque à la faire dégonder, toutes les 2 minutes. Une brochette de 4 st jacques, avec 50 g de riz (cf photo) à 20 euros! Une crêpe flambée à 9,5 euros, 6 huitres à 10 euros. Deux cheveux trouvés dans la galette de sarrasin. Le vrai piège à touristes. Ils profitent d'une situation de quasi monopole sur le port. Faites plutôt un piquenique sur la plage et vous savourerez de vrais "embruns"."
