"Apart from our waitress la jeune dame there was little to commend this restaurant. We had been directed to our table I had called ahead and made a reservation when a group of 3 and a couple arrived. This seemed to cause a problem and we were aggressively challenged “did you book?”. I don’t know what the issue was but certainly didn’t feel it could have been handled better. There is a limited menu and for my wife , who doesn’t eat meat, that left just two options for main dishes. Unfortunately the parmigiana was sold out leaving a choice of one! The bruschetta was disappointing; the bread was over toasted and there was no oil nor indeed were there any condiments on any of the tables . The ravioli with nuts mushrooms was over rich. The lasagne was ordinary. Having had a mocktail to start my meal the glass was never cleared. And after both the starter and main the plates remained unnecessarily long. Disappointed by the experience we didn’t stay for dessert. The only respite from mediocrity was the waitress looking after our table who smiled and engaged. It seems the other two wait staff were as miserable as the dining experience."
