"Solid Pho and Japanese food. Definitely recommend as I am a regular here and tried multiple items off both Vietnamese and Japanese menus. Will be coming back for sure."
In the Pho Japolo Sushi from Burnaby, a lot of freshly harvested vegetables, fish, and meat are used to prepare easy-to-digest, delicious Japanese dishes, there are also tasty vegetarian dishes on the menu. It's precisely the freshness and lightness together with the original Vietnamese spices that not only brings tasty meals to the table, but also puts the customers into a pleasant holiday feeling for a short time, on the daily specials there are also a lot of Asian dishes.

"I don't have unreasonable expectations for restaurants. A general respect and some basic manners is all I expect. I was completed taken aback by the rudeness of one particular waitress. I was in here to pick up take out when the waitress told me that one of my orders isn't in the system. I said "What do you mean it isn't in the system, I paid for it already" She showed me the computer screen quite angrily and said "SEE? its not here" I said "I don't understand, its been paid for already" in which case she responded by huffing towards a stack of take out boxes that were ready and pointed towards it and said "is it this"And she was completely exasperated telling me " YOU have to tell me that its ready and there"I said "I don't know that it's ready"and she was exasperated and said "Just go pay for your order" WTF?? I have to tell her that my take out is ready? I'll never go back there again."
When the weather conditions is pleasant you can also eat outside.

"‘Green Leaf’ was chosen as our go to place for lunch.  It had been quite some time since our last visit — we were anxiously-looking forward to this opportunity of another dining experience.  We my lady and I arrived at the restaurant just before the doors were opened, and ’open’ light turned on at 11:30 am.    <br/ <br/ Service from everyone was very friendly, cordial, and helpful throughout our stay.  I believe every one of the several servers working during our time there, stopped by our table at least once, to ensure we were being well-taken care of, and enjoying what was ordered — in what I thought was a very caring way, and definitely not being overly-attentive.  <br/ <br/ What we ordered:  dishes named and described as listed in the restaurant’s menu <br/ <br/ —  Casual Plates:  “Osaka Style” Tako Yaki 4 pcs , Deep Fried Dashi Tofu spicy, deep fried battered tofu in “dashi” broth, 7 pcs , Crispy Chicken deep fried soy garlic seasoned chicken, on bed of lettuce, 5 pcs   —   Fritters:  Prawn Fritter deep fried battered prawn, 6 pcs , Snapper Fritter deep fried battered snapper, soy glaze and wasabi mayo, on bed of lettuce, 6 pcs   —  Fresh Oshi “pressed” Osaka style :  Sockeye Salmon Avocado 6 pcs   —  Pasta Udon:  Beef Yaki Udon stir pan fried beef udon noodles .<br/ <br/ Service from kitchen to table definitely brought a delightful “sensory surprise” — everything ordered came to our table at the same time.  When laid out, almost covering our table, it sure looked good — with all the colours, and shapes sizes of the various presentations.  I believe we both let out a quite loud ‘wow’ — I do know we sure received warm and wonderful smiles from our servers when they saw our reaction to their delivery!!  <br/ <br/ Food preparations were as good as hoped — a wealth of distinctive textures, flavours and tastes.  If I had to pick ‘standouts’ — for me:  snapper fritter, dashi tofu, the fresh oshi, and beef yaki udon — for she:  tako yaki, dashi tofu, snapper fritter, and avocado halves of the fresh oshi.  The prawn fritter and crispy chicken preparations were just ‘ok’  — prawns lacked distinctive flavour, chicken, though flavourful, the very small pieces ‘slivers’ were too thickly-battered.<br/ <br/ All-in-all, a much-enjoyed lunch dining experience once again at Green Leaf."
The restaurant from Burnaby offers 95 different dishes and drinks on the menu at an average CA$22.

"I gotta be really honest here. The food was really good. We ordered japchae and pork bone hot pot, the noodles we 're perfectly sweet and chewy, full of flavor and pretty big portions. The pork bones had juicy meat and full of flavor too.The reason why I 'm giving only 2 stars despite the above is because I clearly asked the waiter if the soup was spicy as I wanted to clarify with them because we do not like spicy food, and my father literally cannot eat too much spicy foods because of health reasons. They said it 's spicy but can alter it so it is not spicy as I asked for them to remove the spicy completely. Now if they said they cannot do that, I understand because I 've worked at a restaurant before and food is usually premade so removing a specific ingredient is literally impossible. If they said no, we would be fine and order something else. So, the soup came and.. it was overwhelmingly spicy.. We asked if they removed the spicy flavor like we ordered and they said this is mild . I clarified again with another waitress that my father cannot have this and the rest of the group is not happy with it either. So they came back with a clear broth and another bowl to dip the bones in it to remove the spice.I didn 't want to argue any further because I don 't like making scenes in public or wasting food.. because I know that working at a restaurant before, once food arrives at the table, you cannot serve it to another table or eat it yourself for sanitary reasons and becomes waste basically.so I sucked it up and accepted this. We did the soaking of the bones and removed the spice and it was good like I mentioned above.. I could have argued this even further and got this replaced with what we wanted and they had to dump a huge pot of food. But, again from my previous experience, restaurants should replace an order that was made by mistake and should remedy it in some way. I feel I made myself clear to them and the reasoning behind it was fair. Similar to allergies, this should be of been taken more seriously. So if this was what they can offer to an unhappy customer, then so be it.As feedback to the owner, please add spicy icons to items that are spicy. Not everyone that loves Korean food can take it. I would have been able to avoid this entire ordeal by just avoiding all the spicy icons, similar to vegans avoiding dishes that doesn 't have the leaf icon. It 's a pretty simple technique that is very common in most restaurants now. Also, the bigger hotpots do not come with rice.. and rice is $2.50 for a small bowl. I don 't want to sound cheap but this is a bit expensive for plain white rice, which is usually complimentary."
