"L’Oste e La Strega is a wonderful osteria in a location that cannot be equaled. Glori (tiny fraz. of Molini di Triora) is perched on a sunny peninsula in western Liguria, high above the green green Argentina River valley, with a view down to the Mediterranean. Our lunch there today, in the tiny sunny piazza, was sooooo delicious. My homemade pasta was a type particular to Realdo, a tiny cliffside town even higher up the valley, nearly at the French border. The sauce, gorgonzola and radicchio, was splendid. A special secondo was prepared for us, as vegetarians: local cheese, typical ligurian greens cooked with taggiasca olives, and a kind of frittata. Everything was delicious and presented beautifully, with a half liter of local red wine to drink. Kids played in the piazza. Gianluca rang the church bells in concert, as he does at noon on weekends and for festas. It was glorious! Congratulations to the young hosts, Sara and Vincenzo!!"

"Despite the narrow country road, getting to the top of the Poggio (a hill with a view at Il Poggio di Maro in Badalucco,is really worth the trip! Firstly, for the beautiful 360 degrees views over the valley and the villages around. Climb the ladder to the top of the viewing tower for breathtaking scenery and unique photo oportunities. This is an ideal place for a few days of relaxation. From here you can visit the picturesque Valle Argentina, you can go on hikes, bycicle rides and horse riding can be arranged too. The sea is only 10 kms away and the river at less than a 10 minutes ' walk. A tiny stream also runs close to the agriturismo and if you are brave enough to face its cold waters, you will be able to splash about in peace and tranquillity with no one else in sight. Secondly,for the very friendly welcoming committee (two gorgeous dogs! and the children play area. Your kids will love them. Thirdly, for the fantastic home made country style cuisine,freshly prepared everyday with locally grown produce, directly from the owners ' garden! When was the last time you ate fresh home made pasta and fruit and veggies with no carbon footprint? Lastly, the bedrooms are large, very comfortable, tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and lovely showers. A continental breakfast is served in the morning with different options of fruit, yogurts, cereal, cakes and biscuits. To complete the picture,the owners Barbara and Daniele are very friendly and approachable. We had a fantastic time here and we hope to be back in the near future!"
