"Wir bekamen bereits einen reichhaltigen Gruss aus der Küche, bevor es losging. Überhaupt war die Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Karaffe mit bestellten 3 dl offenen Rotweins hatte deutlich mehr drin. Der Hauptgang war so gross, dass wir keine Nachspeise mehr herunterbrachten und darauf verzichten mussten. Leider war der Hirschpfeffer an zu dünner, heller Sauce und weit weg von einem gewohnt in dicker, dunkler Beize liegenden Pfeffer."

"Stayed here in May 2009 after seeing their website. The hotel is on the main road through the village but the traffic is fairly light. Our simple room had a balcony with the most beautiful views of snow covered mountains. I am sure in the sking season the place is lively but not when we stayed. The biggest disappointment was the food, it bore no resemblence whatsover to the enticing pictures on their own webpage. The staff were really friendly and spoke great English but the meal when it came was very uninspiring and we could hear the 'ping' of a microwave, not very reassuring! had tomato soup to start but I very much doubt it was homemade. Breakfast was actually quite nice with a plate of ham and cheese and good bread but don't stay here if you want great food."

"War letzten Samstag vormittag mit Motorrad Richtung Oberalppass unterwegs und habe wegen der Kälte im Café Adula halt gemacht. Der Cappucino war köstlich und der Croissant hat geschmeckt. Die Freundlichkeit der Serviererin war, wie wenn die Sonne aufgeht und einen wärmt - das absolute Highlight des Tages! Ich wünschte mir, dass die Gastronomie in der Schweiz sich solche Menschen als Vorbild nehmen würde. Vielen Dank!"

"Het is de derde keer dat wij in deze accommodatie verbleven en tevens de laatste keer. We werden deze keer onaangenaam verrast met extra kosten nl. voor het gebruik vd keuken (oven/gaspitten). Heel vreemd aangezien het een appartement is en de afgelopen keren hiervoor geen extra kosten in rekening werden gebracht. We werden geacht 24 Zwitserse Franken te betalen voor minimaal stroomverbruik. Na een discussie met 1 vd medewerkers werd het bedrag verlaagd naar 15 Zwitserse Franken. We hadden hier graag het gesprek over aangegaan met de eigenaar, deze bleek niet aanwezig echter na de betaling zagen we hem in de bakkerij. Wij vinden het erg laf dat je als eigenaar niet het gesprek aangaat over a) slechte communicatie en b) het gevoel dat je creëert bij je klanten opgelicht te worden. Het gaat ons niet zozeer om extra kosten, maar om de slechte communicatie en buiten proportionele kosten. Kortom: het gevoel dat ontstaat dat het niet klopt en dat je opgelicht wordt. Ondanks dat het een mooie accommodatie is, het ontbijt uitstekend is en het een welkome tussenstop is wanneer je de Gotthardtunnel wilt vermijden en over de pas rijdt, gaan wij hier nooit meer naartoe!"

"Hotel clean, but very simple. Breakfast was good, not too many people in the dining area, but also not much choice to eat. The worst is the church over the hotel that every 15 minutes the bells also at night and around 5:30 in the mornong every day the bells make a lot of noise for over 1 minute, which even wakes up dead person. The city of Sedrun is quite boring in the summer you can rent a bike near the hotel or make a walking route. Hotel ok, but nothing special, but because of the bells from the church I wouldn't stay there again"
