"Great pizza and hummus/woodfired flatbread was delicious. Long wait for food and when I went to check on our order after 50 minutes they were just about to buzz us and apologised for delay saying they hadn’t realised they had the order. All good as we weren’t in a rush. Good value glasses of wine. Nice outdoor area."

"We went to Buon Cibo for Sunday lunch for a family birthday celebration. We were a group of 9 people and chose this local restaurant based on the menu that is advertised on their website which includes a nice range of main meals - chicken scallopine, pork and lamb dishes as it appealed to those going to the lunch. Was very disappointing to find that the menu is actually pizza and pasta and none of the advertised dishes are actually on the menu. We asked the staff about the advertised menu and were told that it had changed the day before but have been told today by other locals that they have had the same experience over the past weeks. As of today the "old" menu is still on their website. The pasta dishes on the whole we very average. Not very honest Buon Cibo - you may think it doesn't matter because you rely on drop-ins and tourists who may never return - you shouldn't have misrepresented yourself. We wouldn't have booked your restaurant had we known what the correct menu is."

"We did the wine tasting, was very pricey $20pp for 6 wines) but the service from the staff conducting the tasting was really good. Alice was really enthusiastic, friendly and genuine. We sat outside and liked that she gave us time between each tasting to sit and enjoy it. Nice venue, loved the Margherita Pizza, came out quick. The wines were expensive and nothing was really a stand out for the price, so we didn’t end up buying any bottles. 3.5/5"

"We made a dinner reservation and were thankful that we had. The restaurant was packed but we did not feel cramped. The restaurant is typically Italian Bistro, well lit and very comfortable. The waitering staff are friendly, happy and far from annoying. They know the dishes well and make very good and appropriate recommendations. The Veal Marsala was particularly tasty and complex in flavours and textures.A great evening all round."

"Really loved this place . We were in the Hunter Valley for a week and decided to splurge on the better restaurants this time round . We ate at Eremo , Botanica, Hunters quarter , Yellow Billy , the Gates and a few lower ranked places like legends grill and Gold fish . I think this place was our favorite just above or on par with the Gates . I love a good steak meal and Eremo nailed it . The Staff were great and so friendly . The view and location is great . When we talked about which one we will go back to first its probably Eremo and get the shared T bone with the veggies and potatoes again . It was just such a great meal . Maybe not as sophisticated as the others but its all about taste at the end of the day ."
