"Nice atmosphere but the food quality is really not according to the prices. In addition the waiting time was just to long. Maybe having lunch on Sunday it is not the best time for visiting the baeren. It is very crowdy and maybe the kitchen is has just not enough capacity for the full fill the high demand."

"I have been to this restaurant many times and each time I really look forward to going there and the food has never let me down. They also have a fantastic variety of beers, wines and whiskies and this for very reasonable prices, ask the...owner to advise you or even better get him to surprise you. If you have been disappointed from Swiss wine (as I have) Mr. Zuber (the owner) might be able to change your mind. If you like good beer and haven't tried the Swiss BFM beer before (from the Jura), then don't miss this chance. Their theme dinners are also amazing, especially the whisky dinners and worth every cent. The one area I have been disappointed in this, is the service personal except when being served or advised by the owner couple. Regardless of this fact the food and the variety of the menu's are so good that I still recommend the excursion to this lovely restaurant. In July 14 I paid for the 4 coarse menu was CHF 75.00 which I found very reasonable for what they offered."

"First of all this place is located high in the mountains overlooking Granichen. It has also other activities for children and adults. Very nice and friendly service. The food is very good and tasty. We were a group of c.10 , each one with different dish and we all enjoy it very much. They have even a toilet for handicapped (wheelchair)"
