"Claim to have all gluten containing items marked on the menu, however when I enquired about this to order was informed some additional items have flour in them which are not marked. Ordered dishes which I was assured did not contain gluten and warned the waitress about my allergy/being coeliac. Judging from my reaction to the food I can only assume it was contaminated if not just contained gluten despite them saying it didn’t. Would not feel safe returning given this."

"Here for men 50. eat really good, delicious, fresh. the only part was the fried food smell as soon as they go through the door. no idea whether this is a common problem or the extraction didn't work, but it wasn't great."

"Popped in on a busy Friday night unplanned with my son. Older server was absolutely awesome and fitted us both in, even though it was rammed. Service, food, waiting on staff and atmosphere was top drawer! Spot on, will visit again. Even my teenage son is still racing about it!"

"Great food, worth and service. beautiful homemade food and happy, helpful customer service. we recommend the green room to one and all. we used it one thing and we only wrote a recommendation. it is very practical for us with the wheelchair. the door opens automatically and the loo is disabled friendly. the owner and the employees really try hard to make every visit for us. the food and the coffee are the first advice and we especially enjoy the jacket kartoffel with hearty mint. great eating, great value and friendly, but not about familiar service."

"It's great here! there are many vegan options available, and most of the things that are not vegan can be made as such. they have alternative milk, and most of the things are made fresh so that the food requirements can be easily met. they serve various juices, smoothies, proteinhakes, milkshakes and hot drinks as well as eating and snacks. the food includes suppe, which is usually vegan, breakfast rolls and full breakfast, with a vegetarian full breakfast (baked sausage used). there are also some freshly baked baked pastries, and there is a vegan blueberry croissant, which I find absolutely tasty they can also build their own hot box, in which they select a protein, base, vegetables, toppings, a soak and some extras. Vegan options are available in all areas, and all veggie / Vegan options are clearly marked on their menu. if they stay in a kilometer radius, they also deliver! it is particularly useful when they work in the opposite way, how to eat makes for a hearty and healthy lunch. if they have the time and they only visit lancaster, I would recommend eating in caffe, it is a beautiful, chilled atmosphere, and the personal is really friendly and helpful as a bonus they are also an eco-conscious place with paper straw and serviettes from recycled materials."

"Not the best food if I’m honest could be so much better. I got chicken in a basket which was huge a pile of chips with 3 chicken strips on the top very average, my friend steak was well done when he asked for medium rare, and my girlfriends chicken burger was greasy. One thing I will say is all the serving staff where very helpful and friendly. The menu hasn’t changed much since the last time I went in a few years ago And they ran out of spiced rum on a Saturday evening. Management need a shake up with better organisation on stock and some new ideas."
