"The food was excellent as always. The service was very confusing for us because too much different staff was responsible for our table. This is what happens to one or other misfortune. The room was very loud overall. The ambience was very appealing. The selection of the menu is too little for me personally. "Why the Michelin tester gave this restaurant only one star, I cannot understand. Especially with regard to other 1 star restaurants, for example, Meyer's cellar in Nördlingen, which are strongly opposed to the quality of this food. On special occasions, we offer the experience of enjoying the atmospheric atmosphere and the always new menu in Burg Staufeneck. The imagination and the cooking of the chef is overwhelming. Thus, for example, the gooseberry paste is never the same, but always differently prepared, but always fantastic. The high art of the cook shows itself in my eyes especially in the vegetarian menu meat everyone can! . But also the sauces to fish and meat of the non vegetarian menu prove the absolute grain. We are happy to test high-priced restaurants in France, so I can only say that in the gourmet restaurant the second or even third star would be due!"

"Das Haus Rechberg ist schon von außen deutlich renovierungsbedürftig. Wir haben dort Rast auf einer Wanderung gemacht und wollten nur eine Kleinigkeit essen bzw. Kaffee und Kuchen genießen.Ich hatte eine Danziger Suppe, die war soweit ok, aber das Brot dazu war billigste Industrieware. Das bestellte Bier war schal und schmeckte sehr abgestanden. Da nicht viel los war nehme ich an es war noch im Schlauch der Zapfanlage über Nacht. So etwas darf man nicht servieren und muß wie der Wurstanschnitt in einer Metzgerei verworfen werden. Meine Begleitung hatte Kaffee und Kuchen. Der Kaffee war viel zu dünn, fast schon eine Frechheit, der Kuchen war ok, aber keinesfalls die 3,50 € wert, die er kostete. Überhaupt empfanden wir die Preise für das Gebotene unangemessen hoch. Die Bedienung, vermutlich die Tochter des Hauses, war soweit freundlich, aber völlig unprofessionell und sollte sich dringend auch wie eine Bedienung kleiden. Auf Leggings sollte sie währenddessen verzichten.Der kleine Bruder (?) saß während unseren Besuchs am Nebentisch und plärrte um die Wette, vermutlich weil sich keiner um ihn kümmerte. Auch das empfanden wir als sehr unprofessionell. Die Damentoilette ist nicht abschließbar - das geht natürlich gar nicht.Insgesamt werden wir nicht wiederkommen - Schade."
